Actor Drake Bell found safe after being declared missing

AYTONA Ocean side, Fla. — Jared “Drake” Chime, an entertainer most popular as a star of the Nickelodeon TV program “Drake and Josh,” was found safe Thursday, hours after experts in Florida said he was “absent and imperiled.”

Chime was in contact with cops and wasn't at serious risk, Daytona Ocean side Police Office representative Carrie McCallister said in an email, without giving further subtleties.

“Right now we can affirm policing are in touch and Mr. Chime is protected,” McCallister said.

Hours sooner, the police office put out a proclamation pronouncing Chime “absent and jeopardized” and asked the general population for help in finding him.

Prior to being found noontime Thursday, Chime was most recently seen Wednesday night close to a Daytona Ocean side secondary school.

Agents for the 36-year-old entertainer didn't promptly answer to demands for input.

Ringer started going about as a youngster and was shot to popularity as a high schooler with Nickelodeon's “The Amanda Show” and later “Drake and Josh.” The Nickelodeon show featuring Chime and Josh Peck ran from 2004 until 2007, and was joined by two films.
