Elton John says goodbye in last demonstration of conclusive visit

Sir Elton John is finished with visiting.

The notable artist played out the last arrangement of his last visit in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday night. The “Goodbye Yellow Block Street” visit crossed years, starting in September 2018 and stopping for almost two years in 2020 in view of the Coronavirus pandemic and a hip injury John supported in 2021.

“This is an extremely impactful night since it's the last demonstration of the visit. This is the 330th, counting Glastonbury, we've completed 330 shows in 663 days. That is really astonishing,” the “Little Artist” vocalist said during Saturday's exhibition.

In January 2022, not long from now before he continued the visit, John told “CBS Mornings” he was anticipating investing energy with his family when it was finished.

“All in all, I've been visiting since I was 17 toward the rear of a van. I've had the most staggering life. I've been so fortunate, and I've cherished each and every moment of it,” he said at that point. “However, I've had enough of that commendation, and I truly need … I'll be 76 years old when I quit visiting in 2023. I believe that should accomplish something else with the remainder of my life.”

Coldplay's Chris Martin joined John's last show by means of livestream to honor the “Rocket Man” vocalist. He wished John a cheerful retirement.
