Gwen Stefani Gets back With Heartfelt Bop ‘Genuine Angel'
The pop track is Stefani's most memorable new melody since 2021's “Slow Applaud” with Saweetie
GWEN STEFANI HAS gotten back with the heartfelt pop bop “Genuine Angel.” It's the star's most memorable tune since 2021's “Slow Applaud” highlighting Saweetie.
Stefani collaborated with Swedish creation team Jack and Coke as well as Los Angeles-based rock musician and maker KThrash for the tune. The single celebrates tracking down solace in a significant other and needing to enjoy consistently with them.
“I need to travel to your shows/Need to awaken in your garments/Come get you blasted at 6:30/Need to take this evening sluggish,” she sings on the pre-chorale. On the snappy tune including her notable vocal lilt, Stefani sings “Because it's actual angel, genuine darling/I'm dozing better close to you darling, you darling.”
Last month, Stefani featured the 2023 BeachLife Celebration in Redondo Ocean side, California close by the Dark Keys and the Dark Crowes. This late spring, she is playing a line of European and UK celebration dates. She'll wrap the run with an appearance at BST Hyde Park Celebration in London with P!nk.
