NASHVILLE, Tenn. – – The Tennessee Titans are supposed to sign free specialist wide recipient DeAndre Hopkins to a two-year bargain that could be worth up to $15 million in the principal year, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini.
The arrangement, as most would consider to be normal to be finished over the course of the following couple of days, will provide Hopkins with a base compensation of $12 million in the primary year and could reach up to $15 million with motivators, sources told Russini.
Hopkins imparted a photograph of him to Titans running back Derrick Henry on Instagram on Sunday. Hopkins followed up later Sunday night on Twitter, protecting his decision of Tennessee as a free specialist.
“I generally cherished having skeptics and cynics yet I feel a debt of gratitude much more at this point. Titan up!!” Hopkins tweeted.
Hopkins, 31, carries 10 years of NFL experience with him to Nashville. He quickly turns into the most veteran beneficiary in the Titans' unpracticed wideout room. Hopkins will opening into the job as an external recipient inverse second-year wideout Treylon Burks.
